Zawad Ibn Farid

Research Associate

Zawad Ibn Farid works as a Research Associate at IID. He has completed his Bachelor & Masters of Disaster Management (BDM and MDM) from the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies (IDMVS), University of Dhaka. He has experience working in different research projects of a good number of renowned GOs and INGOs. His area of research interest includes Inclusive education, global warming & climate change, climate resilience, Local governance, Refugee health, migration & migrants, Gender & Sustainable Livelihood.

Likewise, Zawad has published papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Holding the first class first position in both Honors and Master’s level, he has been awarded “President’s Gold Medal Award-2019” for Academic Excellence in the 52^nd convocation of the University of Dhaka.
