Md. Zarif Rahman works as a Research Associate at IID. He has completed his BSS and MSS in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Dhaka. He has experience in different types of peacebuilding work, such as interfaith dialogue, media literacy, reducing the dropout rate of marginalized children, inclusivity of senior citizens, etc. His research interests include human rights, conflict mapping, youth and skill development, inclusive development, violent extremism, climate change, communal harmony, etc. He has published several research articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and presented four papers at national and international conferences. He also writes op-eds for different newspapers and blogs. He has been awarded the University Govt. Honors Scholarship and the Undergraduate Scholarship from the University of Dhaka.
