In partnership with International Growth Center (IGC), IID sought to identify Bangladesh’s ICT data need in order to assess its position in relation to the digital divide between and with nation(s). IID developed a comprehensive list of ICT Indicators in consultation with various government and research agencies. By conducting an empirical analysis of government’s existing survey mechanism, IID also identified the data gap that exists with regards to the demand identified. A consultation workshop was held in this regard where the participants emphasised on considering the national ICT policy while developing the final set of indicators.
