Can SDGs help us recover from pandemic and recession?

The Covid-19 Great Lockdown is being perceived as the worst economic downturn since the ‘Great Depression’ and countries are struggling to save lives with their limited resources amid a life-versus-livelihood debate. There are concerns that this fight against pandemic may shift both the focus and resources away from some critical SDG actions.

However, re-prioritization of SDGs can rather help fight the pandemic and recession while protecting key SDG targets. Here’s how –
