Brigadier General (Dr.) Md Saidur Rahman, Chief Health Officer, Dhaka South City Corporationattended our 9th Policy Breakfast on Urban Primary Health Care held on July 28, 2016. He especially talked about the vulnerable groups and homeless people of the Dhaka city without whom the development of the Dhaka city is not possible. A central plan involving all the stakeholders and a budget is required to combat the primary health-related challenges in the Dhaka city. He thinks that if the policy suggestions are implemented properly, number of child and maternal death will significantlydecrease.
