Dr. Atiq A Rahman, Executive Director of BCAS, spoke at IID’s Policy Breakfast on climate change that held on 16 January 2016. He stated that the fundamental issue right now is to mainstream climate change in every aspect of development, not only in Bangladesh, but also in every other nation. He believes that though climate change is a serious threat, it is also a tremendous opportunity for Bangladesh and the challenge is to find the proper institutional mechanism that will incorporate climate change in the agenda.
