The representatives of UN body for ICT were briefed about IID’s initiatives on participatory policy advocacy when they visited Dnet’s Infolady model at Savar on 25 May 2012. International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is the specialized agency of the United Nations responsible for ICT. IID’s new initiative promotes evidence-informed participation in the development process by connecting the parliament with the people through ICT-enabled platform.
