Only 14% of the Information request applications are intended towards NGOs who itself are promoting RTI- this finding came out from a survey titled ‘Analyzing the progress of RTI act implementation: Experience of Citizens and Institutions’ conducted on completion of two years of the enactment of the Right to Information Act 2009; initiated by RTI Forum on Institutions and citizens in 2011. IID facilitated to develop the survey questionnaires, managed the citizen’s survey, analyzed the data and prepared the final survey report in collaboration with Transparency International Bangladesh.
