Social Media Campaign

Around 5 lakh unique Facebook users have been reached through #migrant_first (#প্রবাসী_প্রথম) campaign. IID reached this number of migrant workers through its targeted online campaign in the destination countries with videos on awareness building on migration rules and regulations, advice on money management for migrants, middlemen etc. IID’s custom targeting of social media users have been proved effective in reaching the intended target group—the migrant workers living abroad.

Bibhui (বিভুঁই) App

The android app বিভুঁই (Bibhui) has been proven a good success among the migrant workers, since of its test launch on March of 2018. It allowes aspirant migrants know all the decision making aspects of labour migration, provides emergency contact information and allowes victims of labour migration process to lodge complains. The app has been downloaded in major destination countries. Because of high number of downloads during a relatively short period of time, the Bibhui app was ranked number 3 top trending app in Saudi Arabia under the communications category of AppBrian’s user-driven app ranking.
